Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
Finish Line Promotions in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Marketing Associate to engage passersby at events, explain campaigns, and convert interest into customers. This hands-on, in-person role emphasizes communication and real-world training.
You’ll join a team that values coaching, performance feedback, and growth. Full-time W-2 employment with base pay plus bonuses, plus health resources and team events.
A person's interest can change in the space of one conversation.
Someone walks past a promotional display. You introduce yourself, explain what the campaign is about, and give them a reason to stop. Maybe they ask a question. Maybe they decide it's not for them. Either way, you've had a real interaction, and you've learned something from it.
At Finish Line Promotions, that's where marketing happens.
We're a Charlotte-based face-to-face marketing company that helps client organisations connect with new audiences through in-person campaigns.
As a Marketing Associate, you'll actively approach people, represent campaigns, and help interested individuals become customers or supporters. This is a hands-on marketing role, not a digital marketing or office-based position.
You'll work at promotional events, pop-ups, retail locations, and other designated campaign sites across Charlotte.
Your work will involve:
Not every conversation leads to a result. What matters is building the skills to communicate effectively, stay professional, and keep improving.
You don't need previous marketing experience. You'll receive paid, structured training to learn the campaigns, practice customer conversations, and develop practical skills.
The employment package includes:
Consistent results, professionalism, and readiness can open the door to supporting newer teammates or taking on greater responsibility. Advancement is earned, not automatic.
We're interested in people who communicate respectfully, enjoy meeting others, and are willing to initiate conversations.
You'll need to be reliable, open to coaching, comfortable working toward goals, authorised to work in the United States, and able to commute reliably to campaign locations throughout Charlotte.
Experience in retail, hospitality, customer service, sales, or volunteering is helpful, but not required.
If you want practical experience, a team that takes improvement seriously, and work where your communication skills make a measurable difference, we'd like to hear from you.
