Eligibility

This position is available to enrolled American University students only.

Location & Hours

Part‑time, 10–15 hours per week. Will work in the office once per week. Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Graphic Design Team: Produce high‑quality graphics for print, online, and digital displays that meet brand standards; provide creative direction, establish timelines, and communicate progress.
• Photography & Videography Team: Photograph RecFit programs and events, review and organize photographs for social media and graphic use, and shoot video content for promotional purposes.
• Social Media Team: Manage RecFit’s Instagram account, post daily updates, and provide real‑time coverage during events; assist ambassadors with content creation, editing, and formatting.

Required Education & Experience

• Creative thinking to develop new ideas and concepts for projects.

Preferred Education & Experience

• Highly organized, detail‑oriented self‑starter, able to work independently when needed.
• Proficiency in Adobe CC (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.).
• Understanding of core design elements such as typography, contrast, and color.
• Current pursuit of a degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
• Knowledge of DSLR cameras, lighting, and related photography/video equipment.

Compensation

Salary: $18.40 per hour. Hours: 10–15 per week.
