Job summary

Pioneer Bank in Mankato, MN is seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing Department. You will support social media, events, and materials, helping grow community awareness and trust.

You will work with the VP of Marketing and Marketing Specialist, assist with brand materials, website content, and ROI analysis of campaigns, and help manage internal graphics and collateral.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or earning a degree with a major in marketing or related field.
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
• Completed two full academic years toward degree.
• Three marketing semester hours completed.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel.
• Satisfactory credit and background check prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Assist with social media development and management.
• Support marketing leadership with business development activities and events.
• Assist with branded materials and apparel management for employees and outreach.
• Enhance internal graphics library for ads, sponsorships, promotions and events.
• Assist with website and brochure content consistency and presentation.
• Analyze campaigns to assess ROI and impact of marketing efforts.

As a Marketing Assistant, you will be part of a strong organizational culture that celebrates success and provides strong opportunities for growth and development to all employees. You will work alongside experienced bankers who will offer insights to help you better understand the important role marketing plays in the financial industry. You will assist the Marketing Team in building awareness, credibility, service and trust in the communities we serve.

Important day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Assist with social media development and management.
• Support the VP of Marketing and Marketing Specialist with business development programs that can include event preparation, branded material ordering and distribution, mailings, database management and progress tracking.
• Assist with branded materials, branded clothing and supplies management for internal employee use and business development purposes.
• Enhance internal graphics library for advertisements, sponsorships, promotions and events.
• Assist with enhancement of website and brochure content consistency, quality and presentation.
• Complete Analysis of all marketing, gives and public recognition plans, events and campaigns to assess return on investment for each campaign or activity.

Qualifications: Qualifications for this Opportunity:

• Seeking a degree at an accredited college/university with a major in accounting, banking, business administration, commercial or banking law, economics, finance, marketing or other fields related to the position. (Major must be documented in the transcript or proof of enrollment.)
• Minimum cumulative (overall) 3.0 GPA
• Completed two full academic years toward relevant degree
• Completed three semester hours in marketing
• Have a valid driver's license and a ready accessible vehicle, should travel be warranted
• Satisfactory credit and background check completed prior to start date
