Hours: 15–20 hours per week

Schedule: Primarily weekday evenings, approximately 4:00–10:00 p.m., with weekend shifts as needed

Compensation: $23.00 per hour

Internship Term: Fall 2026 (late September through early December)

Position Summary

Starfire Sports is seeking a motivated, creative, and reliable Marketing & Content Intern to join our team for Fall 2026.

This part-time position provides hands-on experience in sports marketing, photography, videography, social media, and digital content creation. The primary focus of the role is to capture the energy and experience of Starfire’s programs through high-quality photography and short-form video, particularly during weekday evenings and weekends when much of our programming takes place.

Key Responsibilities
Photography & Content Capture
  • Capture a high volume of high-quality, social-media-ready photos across Starfire’s youth classes, leagues, indoor soccer programs, and other programming.
  • Organize and upload media so that content can be easily accessed and used by the marketing team.
Social Media Content
  • Provide a consistent supply of photos and short-form video that can be used across Starfire’s social media channels.
  • Assist with content creation for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms as appropriate.
  • Research current social media trends and identify opportunities to adapt relevant trends to Starfire’s brand.
Independent On-Site Coverage
  • Work independently during evening and weekend programming to capture assigned content.
  • Follow a daily or weekly content plan established by the Marketing Specialist.
  • Be flexible and responsive to changes in Starfire’s programming schedule.
General Marketing Support
  • Assist with photo selection, basic editing, and content organization.
  • Support marketing campaigns and special projects as needed.
Qualifications
  • Current college student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Digital Media, Photography, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in photography, social media, digital content, or sports marketing.
  • Comfortable working independently and taking direction from a supervisor.
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms and current content trends.
  • Comfortable working evening and weekend hours.
Preferred Skills
  • Photography experience and familiarity with digital cameras.
  • Experience creating content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or other social platforms.
  • Basic photo and video editing skills.
  • Personal camera equipment is preferred but not required.
