This is a remote position that may require periodic travel to events throughout the DMV.
SCI Summary: SCI supports people with disabilities, behavioral challenges, medically complex needs, transitioning youth, the elderly, and other populations using Maryland Department of Health's Targeted Case Management and Supports Planning work models.
Position Summary: The Marketing & Communications Manager will play a pivotal role in advancing the brand, marketing, and experiential engagement strategy of Service Coordination Inc. (SCI), a nonprofit dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities and complex needs. Reporting to the Director of Brand Experience, this newly created role will lead the development and execution of strategic marketing, branding, and communications initiatives that strengthen SCI's visibility, deepen stakeholder relationships, and amplify its mission-driven impact. This role will oversee content development, digital strategy, campaign execution, and experiential marketing, ensuring alignment with SCI's objectives. The Marketing & Communications Manager will manage website content, support awards and recognition efforts, lead engagement and awareness campaigns, and develop compelling cross-channel content. Additionally, this position will drive event marketing and experiential initiatives, positioning SCI as a leader in case management services. By applying innovative marketing strategies, the Marketing & Communications Manager will increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and foster deeper connections with partners, stakeholders, and the communities SCI serves. This role requires a creative, detail-oriented, and results-driven professional with a passion for nonprofit marketing and a commitment to SCI's mission.

Physical Demands: Generally, presents standard office environment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position >95% of the time. Continually operates a computer, keyboard and mouse, and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, printer, and mobile smartphone device. Constantly positions self to comfortably maintain computer equipment. May occasionally be required to move about in an office setting or position office equipment weighing between 10-25 pounds. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Ability to operate a motor vehicle. The person in this position frequently communicates with other people. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. IT Roles must be able to position self to maintain computers and equipment, including under desks and in server room(s).
