Gulf Coast Educators Federal Credit Union is seeking a Marketing & Business Development Manager to lead marketing strategies, drive business growth, and build strong community relationships while supporting our mission of helping members achieve their financial goals.

This position will be located at our Mortgage and Insurance building in Pasadena. Regular local travel using the Credit Union vehicle is required, with occasional travel throughout Texas.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of similar or related experience.
• Two-year college degree or equivalent certification or licensing.
• Regular local travel using Credit Union vehicle; occasional travel across Texas.

Responsibilities

• Lead marketing and business development team members.
• Oversee branding, advertising, digital strategy, pricing, and marketing plans.
• Identify, evaluate, and secure new business opportunities, partnerships, and alliances.
• Analyze statistics for the Marketing and Business Development Plan and adjust as needed.
• Identify statewide expansion opportunities and coordinate with remote branches.
• Develop and manage budgets for marketing and BD activities.
• Coordinate sponsorships, conferences, and ROI tracking.
• Build and maintain relationships with partners and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with Bank Secrecy Act and applicable regulations.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.

Gulf Coast Educators Federal Credit Union is seeking a Marketing & Business Development Manager to lead marketing strategies, drive business growth, and build strong community relationships while supporting our mission of helping members achieve their financial goals.

This position will be located at our Mortgage and Insurance building in Pasadena.

This position requires regular travel using Credit Union vehicle. A valid driver's license is required for this position.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Build, manage, and mentor high-performing marketing and business development team members.
• Marketing Strategy: Oversee branding, advertising, digital strategy, pricing, and the development of marketing business plans to promote products and services.
• Business Development Strategy: Oversee all business development initiatives, including identifying, evaluating, and securing new business opportunities, potential partnerships, and strategic alliances.
• Analysis: Analyzes relevant statistics for the Marketing and Business Development Strategic Plan and recommends appropriate changes when required.
• Statewide Expansion Initiatives: Identify opportunities outside the greater Houston area. Work with our remote branches to develop presence in their area.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets related to marketing and business development to ensure the effective allocation of resources. This includes sponsorships, donations, giveaway items, and vehicle maintenance.
• Conferences: Identify educational conference sponsorship opportunities and coordinate all related tasks, including registration, employee travel, overall sponsorship ROI, and more.
• Partnership Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, clients, and vendors.
• Compliance: Responsible for compliance with Bank Secrecy Act and all governmental regulations and Credit Union policies and guidelines. Responsible for complying with Federal Rules and Regulations as required by NCUA.
• Other Duties: Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• - Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
• - (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
• - This position requires regular local travel using Credit Union vehicle. Occasional business travel throughout Texas for business needs.
