Job description

Incline P&C Group is a privately owned company, backed by private equity and its original founders, with an exclusive focus on the property and casualty program insurance market. The company writes approximately $2+ billion in premiums through its A-rated and managed carriers. Incline has a team of over 100 employees headquartered in Austin, Texas.

Incline Insurance Group is seeking a Marketing Analyst to support business development, market intelligence, and pipeline management across the organization. This role will serve as a key enablement partner to the Business Development Director and Underwriting Leadership, helping identify and research prospective MGAs, program administrators, brokers, markets, and industry segments while ensuring opportunities are effectively tracked from initial contact through underwriting review and disposition. The Marketing Analyst will combine strong research, analytical, organizational, and presentation skills with an understanding of the property and casualty insurance market to help power Incline's business development efforts and support continued growth.

About the Marketing Team

Incline's Marketing function supports the Company's growth strategy by strengthening market intelligence, business development enablement, prospect engagement, and the materials and insights used to position Incline with prospective partners. The team works closely with Business Development, Underwriting, Reinsurance, and executive leadership to identify target opportunities, maintain visibility into the pipeline, and support effective engagement with MGAs, program administrators, brokers, and other industry partners.

What You'll Do

As Marketing Analyst, you will support the business development funnel from prospect identification through underwriting review and disposition. You will maintain critical pipeline and relationship data, develop market intelligence and presentation materials, coordinate outreach and follow-up, and provide analytical support that helps Business Development and Underwriting leaders prioritize and advance opportunities.

Market Research & Intelligence:

Research prospective MGAs, program administrators, brokers, markets, and industry segments to identify potential opportunities aligned with Incline's target markets and underwriting appetite. Develop market intelligence, prospect profiles, and briefing materials that help business leaders prepare for meetings and evaluate opportunities.

Pipeline & CRM Management:

Build and maintain the prospect database, CRM records, relationship activity, lead sources, and opportunity information. Ensure pipeline data is accurate, current, and actionable, with clear visibility into status, ownership, next steps, and outcomes.

Business Development Enablement:

Support the Business Development Director and Underwriting Leaders with prospect research, presentations, proposals, pitch materials, and other resources needed to position Incline effectively with prospective partners. Help translate business and underwriting information into clear, compelling materials for external audiences.

Opportunity Tracking & Coordination:

Track opportunities from initial contact through underwriting review and disposition. Coordinate outreach, meeting preparation, follow-up, and next steps to help maintain momentum and ensure key actions and commitments are completed.

Marketing Collateral & Program Materials:

Create, maintain, and continuously improve marketing collateral, presentations, program materials, and other business development resources. Help ensure materials are accurate, consistent, professional, and aligned with Incline's brand and value proposition.

Conference & Relationship Support:

Coordinate business development activities associated with industry conferences, broker and prospect meetings, and other market-facing events. Support meeting preparation, scheduling coordination, materials, follow-up, and documentation of relationship activity.

Reporting & Analytics:

Develop pipeline reports and dashboards that provide visibility into business development activity, lead sources, prospect engagement, opportunity progression, conversion, and outcomes. Analyze pipeline and market data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improved focus and execution.

Cross-Functional Partnership:

Collaborate closely with Business Development, Underwriting, Reinsurance, Marketing, and other internal stakeholders to ensure opportunities are routed to the appropriate leaders and supported with the information needed for effective evaluation and decision-making.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking an analytical, highly organized marketing professional who understands how research, data, communication, and disciplined pipeline management support successful business development. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across multiple priorities, producing polished materials, and partnering with senior business and underwriting leaders in a fast-paced insurance environment.

Experience:

3-5+ years of experience in marketing, business development support, market research, sales enablement, underwriting support, or a related analytical role. Experience within a property and casualty insurance carrier, MGA or program administrator, insurance brokerage, or related insurance organization strongly preferred.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, Risk Management & Insurance, Communications, or a related field.

Insurance & Market Knowledge:

Working knowledge of the property and casualty insurance market and familiarity with MGAs, program administrators, brokers, underwriting, distribution relationships, and the program insurance model preferred. Ability to quickly learn Incline's target markets, underwriting appetite, and business development process.

Technical Proficiency:

Strong proficiency with CRM platforms, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience maintaining prospect or opportunity databases and developing pipeline reporting, presentations, and business development materials required. Salesforce experience strongly preferred.

Research & Analytical Skills:

Demonstrated ability to research companies, markets, and industry segments; synthesize information from multiple sources; identify relevant insights; and translate findings into clear, actionable business intelligence.

Communication & Presentation:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to create polished, executive-ready presentations, proposals, briefing materials, and marketing collateral.

Core Competencies:

Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with strong project management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, maintain accurate information, coordinate across teams, and follow opportunities through to completion.
