Job description

Aspen is an AI agent built to run marketing, sales, and client servicing for financial advisors. We're replacing the traditional marketing role with intelligent automation, enabling advisors to build websites, generate personalized content, run sophisticated email campaigns, manage client relationships, and execute automated workflows — all powered by AI.

Every advisor who joins makes the platform smarter, and we're building the future of how financial services professionals grow their firms.

We're a small, profitable team, self-funded and generating seven figures in revenue. No outside investors. No runway pressure. We move fast and build things that matter.

About the Role

Externally you're a Marketing Account Manager. Internally we call this role an AI Strategist, because that's what the job actually is.

You own a portfolio of financial advisor firms. You're the person they meet with, the person they call, and the person who teaches them how Aspen Agent fits inside their practice. You'll set the marketing direction for each firm, use Aspen Agent to execute it — websites, campaigns, content, automations — and train the advisor's team to run more of it themselves over time.

Be clear-eyed about the scale: this is not an enterprise role with five accounts. You'll carry a large book — well over 100 firms within your first year — across several service tiers, from firms you meet with regularly to firms you support without recurring meetings. Succeeding here means working in patterns: building something once and deploying it across dozens of firms, and letting Aspen Agent produce what an agency would staff five people to make.

You'll be in a lot of meetings, and you'll be producing real deliverables between them. The advisors you work with are smart, busy, and skeptical of marketing that doesn't produce clients. Your job is to make Aspen indispensable to them.

What You'll Do

Own the Advisor Relationship at Scale

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio growing to 100+ advisor firms across multiple service tiers

  • Run onboarding, strategy sessions, check-ins, and performance reviews for the firms that call for them

  • Understand each firm's growth goals, ideal client, and market, and translate that into a marketing plan

  • Drive adoption, retention, and expansion

Train Advisors on Aspen Agent

  • Teach advisors and their staff how to prompt Aspen Agent effectively for their own work

  • Run hands-on training sessions that get an advisor's whole team — not just the owner — comfortable working inside Aspen Agent

  • Increase each firm's self-sufficiency over time without reducing the value they get from you

Execute Marketing Work

  • Use Aspen Agent to produce advisor websites, email campaigns, drip sequences, landing pages, lead magnets, and marketing collateral

  • Review and QA all output for accuracy, tone, brand fit, and compliance appropriateness

  • Handle the last-mile configuration that still needs a human — DNS, Zapier, Calendly, CRM connections, tracking

  • Turn strategy into shipped deliverables on a predictable cadence

Report and Improve

  • Track campaign and website performance and present results to advisors in plain language

  • Recommend what to change next based on what the data shows

  • Surface patterns where Aspen Agent underperforms and feed them back to the product team

  • Manage your own ticket queue and account priorities independently

What You Must Have

  • 3–5 years in marketing, account management, or client strategy (agency, B2B SaaS, or in-house marketing)

  • Genuine marketing depth — you can build a campaign strategy, not just execute tickets

  • Strong proficiency with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar, and good instincts for prompting

  • Experience building email campaigns, drip sequences, and templates (Mailchimp, HubSpot, SendGrid, or similar)

  • Comfort running client meetings and presenting work to business owners

  • Strong writing and editing skills

  • Basic understanding of DNS, domains, and website hosting

  • Experience managing a large book of accounts, and the instinct to build systems rather than handle everything one at a time

  • Ability to juggle many accounts and competing deadlines without dropping things

  • Ability to learn a complex product quickly and become an Aspen Agent expert

Strong Pluses

  • Marketing experience with financial advisors, RIAs, wealth management, insurance, or another compliance-heavy industry

  • Familiarity with advertising compliance and review processes

  • Experience with SEO and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization)

  • Experience with Zapier, Calendly, Typeform, or similar tools

  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Wealthbox, Redtail, HubSpot, or Salesforce

  • Understanding of Meta Ads Manager, lead generation funnels, tracking pixels, and conversion flows

  • Comfort with basic HTML/CSS for website or email customization

  • Experience creating PDFs, marketing collateral, or client-facing content

  • Base salary: $90,000–$120,000 depending on experience

  • 29 days off annually: 12 PTO days (increasing with tenure), 12 paid holidays, and 5 sick days

  • Health benefits (medical, dental, and vision)

  • In-office role in Charlotte, NC

  • Small team, high ownership, and direct access to the founders
