Job summary

Oak Valley Hospital is seeking a dynamic Marketer for our Nursing and Rehab Center/TCU to drive referrals and census growth. The role involves developing marketing strategies, conducting patient assessments, and ensuring smooth transitions from acute care to the skilled nursing facility.

You will travel within the local market to hospitals and clinics, build relationships with referral sources, and work with admissions and payer sources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) or active nursing license in CA
• 2–3 years of sales/marketing in healthcare, preferably long-term care or SNF
• Strong familiarity with admissions, patient insurance and payer sources (Medicare/Medicaid/Managed Care)
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems (e.g., Point Click Care)

Responsibilities

• Increase daily census by cultivating relationships with key referral sources (hospitals, physicians, case managers, discharge planners)
• Develop and execute marketing strategies for the facility
• Conduct in-hospital patient assessments
• Ensure smooth transitions from acute care to the skilled nursing facility

Apply now and join our talented team of nurses and physicians today and start building the career of your dreams!JOB REQUIREMENTS* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) or current and active nursing license as an LVN or RN in the state of California* 2–3 years of sales and/or marketing in healthcare, specifically long-term care or skilled nursing.* Strong familiarity with the admissions process at a sub-acute/SNF facility, including understanding of patient insurance and payer sources (Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care).* Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.* Prefer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to quickly learn electronic medical record applications (e.g., Point ClickCare)* Current BLS certification* This is a field-based position requiring travel within the local market to hospitals and clinics in addition to time in office, working on admissions and insurance related business activities.Salary: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
