Job summary

Digital Realty is seeking a Market Technical Manager (MTM) for Data Center Operations to lead technical, telecom, security, MEP systems across regional properties. The role involves monthly site visits, audits, and managing shell-only inspections, with various large-scale and fast-turn projects to drive performance.

You will coordinate construction, commissioning, and ongoing operations while guiding teams and maintaining compliance with standards and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required or 15 years data center experience in lieu.
• Expertise in critical MEP infrastructure operations incl. UPS, generators, cooling, CRA/air handlers, electrical distribution.
• Strong ability to manage multiple complex projects and estimate client installation costs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for internal/external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and ordinances affecting data, comms and MEP projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage technical, telecom, security, MEP systems for market portfolio.
• Travel monthly to properties for audits; inspect shell with annual site visits.
• Lead site projects from construction to commissioning and ensure specs are met.
• Develop operating standards, procedures, and documentation.
• Review drawings and site surveys to identify mechanical/electrical characteristics.
• Collaborate with customer, property management and sales teams.
