Market Service Manager

UniFirst is seeking a Market Service Manager to oversee all operational aspects of the service department, ensuring our ability to keep Customers for Life. The role involves recruiting and leading a team of Route Service Managers, Supervisors, and Representatives who serve multiple customers daily, ranging from small family-owned businesses to major corporate locations. The ideal candidate will drive customer satisfaction, account growth, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee recruiting, training, and development of Route Service team members.
• Build strong customer relationships and elevate team achievement in customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with management to provide excellent customer service and product programs.
• Negotiate customer contract renewals.

Qualifications:

• Business savvy with a focus on increasing profits and customer satisfaction.
• Results-driven relationship manager willing to support team and customers.
• Support and develop Route Service Representatives and Managers.
• Auto insurance compliance if using personal vehicles.
• High School Diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Prior customer service experience.
• Problem-solving and handling various customer situations.
• Ability to negotiate, train, coach, and lead.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimum age of 21.
• Valid driver’s license in residence state.
• Meet pre-employment DOT physical requirements.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
