Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company (BGC) is seeking an in-store meat department team member to keep market and seafood cases full, rotated, and fresh with prepackaged meats. You will cut, weigh, package, and label products as needed while promoting friendly, service-oriented interactions with customers.

You will work with upper management to train staff, review sales data, and manage inventory using item management processes to ensure in-stock levels and product quality meet company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Food Handler certification required.
• Manager Food Safety certification required.

Responsibilities

• Keep market and seafood cases full, rotated, and fresh.
• Cut, weigh, package, and label products as needed.
• Promote customer service and assist customers by phone or in person.
• Train and develop partners, schedule, plan, and direct work with upper management.
• Review historical data on sales, ads, and promotions to support decisions.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and in-stock levels.
