Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Market Risk and Business Service leadership role located onsite in the Market. The role oversees integrated risk, supervision, and client-first service, driving modernization, automation, and governance across the Market.

In this senior position, you will lead a team of Risk Officers, Service Managers, and HR partners, ensuring audit readiness and efficient operations while managing budgets and stakeholder expectations.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in risk, supervision, service, and/or business controls within a complex field organization.
• Strong knowledge of supervisory practices, risk and controls, and regulatory expectations; strong judgment and escalation discipline.
• Experience modernizing operating models and improving efficiency through technology (AI/automation where appropriate).

Responsibilities

• Lead the Market’s integrated risk and service organization; set priorities and deliver consistent outcomes across the Market.
• Directly lead and develop a team of Risk Officers, Business Service Officers, and Service Managers; reinforce accountability and performance expectations.
• Establish a culture of client-first service and guardianship; reinforce consistent behaviors and standards.
• Ensure appropriate supervisory coverage and support effective supervisory planning within the Market.
