Job summary

Continental Properties is seeking a market research intern to support multifamily development teams with a wide range of analytical tasks.

In this role you will provide market research support, verify data accuracy with comparable properties, assist with rent positioning, and produce reports and maps on the multifamily supply pipeline using sources including third-party reports and municipal data. Power BI data preparation support is also included.

Qualifications

Student in progress of obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Business, Economics, Geospatial Science or related field

Responsibilities

Provide market research support to development teams and the market research team
Communicate directly with comparable multifamily properties to verify competitive positioning and data accuracy
Proactively coordinate with dealmaker and market research analyst to assist in rent positioning for potential projects
Research, understand, and provide reports/maps of the multifamily supply pipeline for development projects using multiple sources and methods including third-party reports, media reports, municipal websites, municipal meeting minutes, and directly contacting municipal officials as needed
Assist with data preparation and management for creating/updating reports in Power BI
