Job summary

Continental Properties invites an intern to join the Summer 2027 Market Research Internship at our home office in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. You will collaborate with multifamily development teams to support commercial real estate market research and data analysis.

As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in market research, data preparation, and creating Power BI reports and maps. This role offers full-time summer work and a competitive hourly wage with opportunities to learn and grow

Qualifications

• Student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Economics, or Geospatial Science.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI).
• Familiarity with ArcGIS is desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide market research support to development and market research teams.
• Communicate with comparable multifamily properties to verify positioning and data accuracy.
• Assist in rent positioning considerations for potential projects.
• Research and deliver reports/maps of multifamily supply pipelines using multiple sources.
• Assist with data preparation and updating reports in Power BI.

Position Specifics:

• Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
• Provide market research support to the development teams and the market research team
• Communicate directly with comparable multifamily properties to verify competitive positioning and ensure data accuracy
• Proactively coordinate with dealmaker and market research analyst toassestin rent positioning for potential projects
• Research, understand, and provide reports/maps of the multifamily supply pipeline for development projects using multiple sources and methods including third-party reports, media reports, municipal websites, municipal meeting minutes, and directly contacting municipal officials as needed
• Assistwith data preparationand management forcreating/updating reports in Power Bi

Skills for Success:

• Student in progress of obtainingBachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Business, Economics,GeospatialScienceor related field
