Duties:
- The Senior Associate Director of Pharmaceutical Brand Market Research will have primary responsibility for all aspects of market research and business analyses for assigned brands/TAs, including but not limited to:
- Identify market research (MR) needs for the business (immediate and multi-year planning).
- Develop MR plans leveraging appropriate research methodologies to fill those needs.
- Design, execute, and interpret MR studies and clearly communicate the insights and recommendations arising from the research.
- Be the subject matter expert on past, current, and potential insights needed for the product/project.
- Analyze & report syndicated, secondary market data for performance measurement and market understanding.
- Utilize a full spectrum of survey insights and syndicated data to answer complex business questions, including compiling insights from multiple data sources, creating presentations, and delivering them confidently.
- Support and guide analytical business questions for projects run by other A&I colleagues.
- Work with vendors to ensure each project aligns with business objectives, achieves high-quality insights, follows all regulatory requirements, and delivers actionable insights.
- Manage all work within the specified budget and complete necessary paperwork for project authorization.
- Coordinate and collaborate with other Analytics & Insights team members to support Marketing clients and senior leadership.
- Lead initiatives without authority in a complex organization.
- Demonstrate full product, customer, and performance knowledge quickly and participate actively in planning sessions, influencing marketing strategies and tactics.
Skills and Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years experience in a large product marketing corporation, specifically in market research with primary responsibility for generating, organizing, and presenting insights.
- At least 10 years supporting pharmaceutical brand marketing research.
- In-depth knowledge of qualitative and quantitative market research techniques.
- Experience managing regulatory and ethical requirements of pharmaceutical market research & data protection.
- Preferred experience in cardiology and primary care specialist marketing, and cardiac and/or diabetic conditions.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office (PPT, Outlook, Word, Excel).
- US-based candidates only, able to work during Eastern Time Zone hours.
