Job description

About the Role:

This is a fully remote role supporting a dedicated region (NY & CT) and nationwide. A Market President is responsible for achieving sales targets within a defined territory, with the ability to sell into other territories nationally; this includes direct sales, up-sell sales to the existing customer base, national group sales, and sales via channel partners.

Qualified Candidates Need:

  • Significant fixed-ops experience, preferably with a background in selling fixed operations solutions.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the automotive service department.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Directs implementation and execution of sales policies and practices.
  • Ensures effective communication, supports sales plan objectives, and meets organizational expenditure requirements in conjunction with the VP of marketing.
  • Recommends sales strategies based on market research and competitor analysis.
  • Implements distribution strategies and manages multiple channel selling strategies.
  • Builds, develops, and manages a sales team capable of executing sales and service initiatives.
  • Maintains regular communication with account managers regarding their activities.
  • Disseminates product knowledge, initiatives, and trends to the team.
  • Develops and nurtures strong customer relationships, ensuring open communication channels.

Market President Daily Activity Expectations:

  1. Travel approximately 3 days a week in-market.
  2. Visit 10+ dealers daily to generate new opportunities.
  3. Conduct around 2 meetings per day.
  4. Complete 50+ phone calls and 25+ emails daily.
  5. Use Sugar CRM to document and update the sales funnel.
  6. Enter data into Dynaquote to produce investment figures for closing accounts.
  7. Send DocuSign agreements to decision-makers post-meetings.

In addition to daily activities, strategic market planning and mapping technology help optimize travel efficiency. Weekly team huddles, sales meetings, and occasional Allego video training sessions support continuous development of our sales team.
