About The Role

As the Market Manager for Loka Tequila USA, you will play a vital role in shaping and executing strategic initiatives that maximize returns and deliver exceptional value in partnership with our key distributors. This position offers a unique opportunity for you to showcase your influence and visibility, working closely with distributors to strategize and implement impactful market activities while identifying exciting opportunities in the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the development and execution of monthly and annual strategic business plans to drive volume growth and broaden distribution channels.
  2. Leverage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and brand performance reports to maintain high execution standards and assess market performance.
  3. Collect and analyze data on consumer trends and competitive activities to pinpoint emerging market opportunities.
  4. Oversee market budgets and spending, optimizing resource allocation to meet and exceed brand contribution targets.
  5. Act as a strategic partner to distributor executives, providing insights that align with their goals while propelling Loka Loka Tequila’s business objectives forward.
  6. Collaborate with distributors to influence key decisions, serving as the go-to data management and process optimization expert.
  7. Utilize advanced data insight tools to ensure outstanding execution and craft compelling narratives around market opportunities that enhance collaboration between distributor and retailer organizations.
  8. Partner with national and regional marketing teams to leverage local sponsorships and drive successful activations. You may also take charge of executing regional sponsorships and events.

Basic Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Must live in the Houston, Texas area
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the industry.
  • Proven experience managing within retail and/or a three-tier distribution environment.
  • Solid financial and business acumen, particularly in data analysis and market insights.
  • Background in strategic business planning and execution.
  • Exceptional self-management skills, allowing you to balance schedules and priorities to drive results effectively.
  • Sales excellence demonstrated through a deep understanding of distributor dynamics and strong selling and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent presentation and communication abilities, enabling you to lead impactful sales meetings seamlessly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, is essential.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Proven ability to cultivate and maintain robust customer relationships.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent relevant experience.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Capability to lift and move up to 30 pounds without assistance.
