Job summary

Karius is seeking a Senior Manager, Market Intelligence and Development to join the Marketing team in Redwood City, CA (Hybrid) or Remote (USA). You will lead market research and development initiatives, partner with Product, Commercial, Medical Affairs, and Engineering, and translate insights into actionable market strategies that drive new product launches and expansions.

You will guide analyses of customer insights, competitive landscapes, and market opportunities, shaping go-to-market plans

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences or equivalent.
8+ years of relevant experience with 3+ years in Sales, Finance, Marketing, Analytics, Market Research, or Strategy consulting.
Proven track record translating market insights into business strategies.
Strong expertise in market research tools, BI platforms and Excel.
Experience with go-to-market strategies for new product launches.

Responsibilities

Lead market research plans for launches, expansions, and ongoing commercialization.
Serve as project leader for market research studies: budget, objectives, design, vendor oversight, data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
Develop presentations of market insights and competitive landscape for stakeholders (Commercial Leadership, Leadership Team).
Support go-to-market strategies, soft launches, pilot programs, and customer insight gathering.
Identify KPIs for launch success and communicate progress pre- and post-launch.
Create initial commercial materials and sales enablement resources with Sales Enablement.
Develop short- and long-term forecasts, commercial opportunity assessments, and uncertainty analyses.
Monitor competitive landscape, track new product launches and commercial activities.
Share competitive insights framework with stakeholders across the company.
