Job summary

Express Flooring aims to scale its Seattle market by appointing a Market Operations Manager who will oversee day-to-day installation operations and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality service.

This hands-on leader will develop and manage a network of installation contractors, drive scheduling and inspections, handle warranty resolutions, and recruit and grow the operations team across a growing market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or 10+ years of relevant experience) in operations or a related field.
• 7+ years of operations experience in a leadership role, or 10+ years with no degree.
• Experience managing hourly or field-based teams.
• Experience with independent contractors or service providers.
• Strong leadership with accountability and performance focus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee day-to-day installation operations to ensure projects are completed efficiently and meet standards.
• Manage installation scheduling and dispatch to deploy crews effectively and meet timelines.
• Supervise and support Installation Coordinators for smooth execution.
• Develop and strengthen a network of installation contractors with performance management.
• Conduct job-site inspections to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
• Respond to and resolve customer installation concerns quickly and professionally.
• Manage warranty requests and service resolutions to ensure satisfaction.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop operations team members with training focus.
• Identify operational challenges and implement efficiency improvements.
• Ensure policies, procedures, and contractual obligations are followed.
• Support warehouse and field logistics, including inventory control and load-in/load-out.
