Qualifications

• No education requirement; training provided.
• Six months or less of related work experience; food service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service and greet customers.
• Take orders at the Market Grille counter and answer the phone.
• Review daily orders and anticipate product needs.
• Prepare and replenish products as needed.
• Handle food safely and monitor freshness.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work area.
• Check in product, store items, and review invoices.
• Operate the department register and handle payments.
• Remove trash and wash dishes.
• Price, order, and deliver products as needed.
• Work with coworkers to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist in other store areas and take on special projects.
• Maintain hygiene and Hy-Vee policies.
• Report to work on time.
