Job summary

Pineland Farms in New Gloucester, ME is seeking a friendly, reliable part-time Market Front End Cashier. You will greet customers, operate the cash register, stock shelves, and help create a welcoming shopping experience in a busy farm market.

The position is non-exempt, hourly, and pays $17.00–$21.00. Availability 10:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m. including weekends is preferred; training is provided for cash handling and basic duties.

Qualifications

• Friendly, reliable and enjoys working with people.
• Willing to train for cash handling and basic checkout tasks.
• Available to work 10:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m., including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Packaging produce and bulk snack inventory.
• Basic cleaning tasks: taking out trash, sweeping, mopping, wiping counters.
• Greeting customers and providing friendly service.
• Operating the cash register and handling transactions accurately.
• Stocking shelves and displays with fresh produce and market items.
• Keeping the market clean, organized and well-stocked.
• Assisting customers and creating a welcoming experience at Pineland Farms.
