Job summary

GPC in Wenatchee, WA is seeking a Market Director, Store Operations to oversee the operational performance of multiple store locations, ensuring compliance and an exceptional customer experience. You will partner with store managers to drive profitability and sales targets.

You will mentor leaders, analyze P&L and inventory reports, and lead cross-functional initiatives to improve efficiency, service levels, and budgeting results. Travel up to 50–75% is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop store managers to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across all locations.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with operational policies, safety standards, and company procedures.
• Analyze markets' profit and loss statements and inventory reports to identify and implement strategies to improve operation performance; keeping management apprised of issues, progress, and results.
• Partner with sales leadership to identify and deploy strategies and tools to improve store efficiency and service levels to achieve and exceed district financial objectives and quotas.
• Evaluate business results of the market and stores to ensure the delivery of strategic objectives on budget timelines. Produce accurate and timely financial reports and projections for the market.
• Analyze operational metrics and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and drive profitability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operational initiatives with the business objectives.
• Work cross functionally with Sales market director to deliver key sales initiatives.
• Oversee inventory management processes to minimize shrinkage and optimize stock levels.
• Conduct regular store visits to assess operations, train and coach teams, and provide actionable feedback to leadership teams.
• Champion employee engagement initiatives to build a positive work environment and drive retention.
• Stay informed about market trends, competitor strategies, and industry advancements to maintain a competitive edge.
