Genuine Parts Company is seeking a Market Director, Store Operations to oversee operational performance across multiple store locations. Reporting to the Divisional VP of Store Operations, you will drive excellence, compliance, and customer-centric service while guiding store managers to meet sales and profitability goals.

You will mentor leaders, analyze P&L and inventory metrics, partner with sales to improve efficiency, and ensure adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in business/related field.
• Data-driven with ability to analyze data, develop strategies and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Operational standards execution to maximize store performance and efficiency.
• Coaching and leadership to build high-performing teams.
• Focus on customer in-store experience and satisfaction.
• Proficient with operational tools, inventory systems and reporting software.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop store managers to drive operational excellence across locations.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with policies, safety standards, and procedures.
• Analyze markets profit and loss statements and inventory reports to identify improvement opportunities.
• Partner with sales leadership to deploy strategies and tools to meet financial objectives.
• Evaluate market and store performance, producing financial reports and projections.
• Analyze operational metrics and implement strategies to reduce costs and drive profitability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align initiatives with business objectives.
• Oversee inventory management to minimize shrinkage and optimize stock levels.
• Conduct regular store visits to train, coach, and provide actionable feedback.
