We are currently hiring a Market Development Manager to expand our reach and help us achieve our mission.

This remote role is territory-based, requiring residence within the Boston, MA area.

WHO YOU ARE: A high-achieving sales professional with extensive experience surpassing quotas and impacting organizational growth. You will serve as a brand ambassador, responsible for increasing gross merchandise value (GMV) in target territories through retail partnerships and regional leadership collaboration to drive strategy, product adoption, lease-to-own (LTO) sales, and brand loyalty.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Engage with field leadership to communicate our retailer and customer value propositions and align on mutual business objectives.
  • Conduct business reviews with retail partner leadership to identify opportunities and develop strategies to overcome growth challenges.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to motivate and ensure achievement of business commitments and channel sales goals.
  • Educate teams on products, solutions, and available technologies to enhance channel performance.
  • Work cross-functionally to resolve issues creatively and suggest approach variations for field and account management.
  • Utilize insights and data to coordinate with sales managers, ensuring necessary support for retail locations.
  • Create and communicate strategic plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Use tools like Salesforce.com effectively to track activities and share progress.
  • Consistently exceed GMV targets and grow LTO applications through strategic execution.
  • Develop and execute sales plans, measuring their effectiveness and impact.
  • Address compliance cases promptly to ensure accurate representation of our solutions.
  • Travel approximately 50% of the time.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Lease to Own (LTO) experience preferred.
  • Proven sales growth record with experience partnering with large organizations.
  • 6+ years in sales and/or channel management.
  • Ability to consistently exceed quotas and grow channel business.
  • Strong communication skills for goal setting and accountability.
  • Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills at all organizational levels.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.
  • Clean driving record in accordance with our Driver Safety Policy.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM tools.
  • Ability to develop successful business plans and secure commitments from leaders.
