Job summary

Polycor is seeking a Market Development Coordinator in Bedford, Indiana to support specification development for granite curb products. You will identify contacts, outreach to municipalities and engineering firms, build relationships, and track leads.

The role includes CRM maintenance, scheduling meetings, and assisting with industry events. The position is full-time, hourly, with a hybrid schedule in Bedford, IN 47421.

Qualifications

• Areas of study or experience in architecture, construction management, construction estimating, civil engineering, engineering technology, public works, building materials, architectural products, natural stone, inside sales, or related fields.
• Comfortable with cold calling and maintaining a professional phone presence.
• Self-starter with a proactive, relationship-building mindset.
• Customer service experience and experience working with CRM systems preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Support granite curb specification efforts by outreaching to municipalities, contractors, engineering firms, and public works contacts.
• Identify opportunities and maintain relationships; assist with lead tracking and materials distribution.
• Research key contacts and schedule meetings for the outside specification team; update CRM with project data and activity.
• Assist with trade shows, conferences, and industry events; engage with industry associations and municipal groups.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated Market Development Coordinator to support specification representatives and market specification development efforts for granite curbing products. This role focuses on contact identification, customer outreach, relationship building, and lead tracking.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

SpecificationSupport

• Conduct outreach to municipalities, contractors, engineering firms, and public works contacts to support granite curb specification efforts
• Help build and maintain customer and industry relationships
• Identify upcoming project opportunities in the design stage, planning stage, and through research and direct communication
• Assist with distributing product information, drawings, samples, and related materials
• Support outside specification representatives with follow-up communication and scheduling

Contact Identification & CRM Support

• Identify and research key contacts, decision‑makers, and target accounts to support outside specification market development efforts
• Maintain accurate contact, customer, and project information within CRM software
• Schedule meetings, presentations, and project discussions for the outside specification team
• Track specification opportunities, customer activity, and follow‑up communication
• Assist with product specification efforts, sales documentation, and general administrative support

Industry Support

• Assist with preparation of trade shows, conferences, customer presentations, and industry events as needed
• Support outreach efforts with industry associations, municipal groups, and engineering organizations

POSITION DETAILS

• Job Type: Full-Time, Hourly
• Compensation: $21.50 - $24.00 per hour (equivalent to approximately $45,000- $50,000 annually, based on a 40‑hour work week)
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, standard business hours
• Location: Hybrid, Bedford, IN 47421
