Job summary

Invesco is seeking a Market Consultant to join our DC/Northern Virginia region after building strong partnerships with intermediary clients. You will advance the client journey, acting as a trusted advisor to increase long-term holdings of Invesco products and services, with responsibilities across meetings, presentations, and partnership development.

The role requires 2+ years in asset management sales, appropriate securities qualifications, and a strong consultative approach.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of asset management sales experience.
• Undergraduate, college degree or equivalent preferred.
• CFP, CFA, CIMA or similar certification a plus.
• Series 7 and 63 required (63/65 can be substituted for the 66).
• Technical investment expertise including mutual funds, ETFs, SMAs and their competitive landscape.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a territory sales plan with Market Leader and team.
• Identify and access advisors presenting opportunities for Invesco strategies.
• Travel within the territory to meet clients, COIs, and lead events.
• Deliver product presentations to current and prospective Financial Advisors via various formats.
• Use a consultative approach to meet client needs and drive results.
• Develop data-driven client segmentation and strategic business plans.
