Job summary

La Colombe is seeking a Market Coffee Trainer to educate baristas and wholesale partners, upholding deliciousness and beverage integrity across markets. You will serve as a community ambassador, collaborating with Café Teams to ensure consistent beverage quality and exceptional guest experiences.

Through hands-on coaching, calibration, and on-site engagement, you’ll reinforce brand standards, drive performance, and support regional leadership on training programs.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills are essential for training and coaching
• Proven leadership or management experience is desirable
• A genuine passion for coffee and hospitality is required
• Some travel is required to cover multiple markets
• Minimum of 4 years hands-on experience in the coffee industry is expected

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on, in-person training and coaching to baristas and wholesale accounts
• Lead practical on-bar education including drink prep, calibration, workflow, and service techniques
• Serve as an ambassador for La Colombe culture and products in cafe and wholesale environments
• Collaborate with Café Managers and Baristas regionally to ensure consistent beverage quality and guest experience
• Coordinate with District & National Leadership on market priorities and training needs
• Provide excellent internal and external customer service through responsive support and on-site engagement
• Support cafe mission and values through education that drives memorable guest experiences and strong business results
• Participate in daily cafe operations to model hospitality standards and operational excellence
• Contribute to regular quality control checks and follow-up improvements
• Observe performance, identify skill gaps, and deliver actionable feedback and coaching
• Collaborate with leadership to improve training programs, tools, and execution
• Attend meetings with local leadership to align on operational rollouts
• Represent La Colombe professionally at industry events and conferences
• Support market initiatives such as events and public trainings
