Casella is seeking a Market Area Trainer to educate drivers on safe operation of company vehicles, delivering classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction and evaluating performance. The role includes onboarding new drivers, coaching DDTs, and leading retraining to uphold high safety standards across the market.

The position collaborates with Operations and Safety leadership to improve driver performance, reduce risk, and promote a culture of safety, using Power BI reporting to inform instruction.

Qualifikationen

• Experience coaching and developing commercial drivers.
• Ability to communicate with drivers, trainers, managers and safety teams.
• Documentation and compliance experience required.

Aufgaben

• Delivers Smith System training in classroom and on-road sessions; assesses readiness for release.
• Coaches DDTs and adapts training to experience levels.
• Drives onboarding through 4–6 week program and supports retraining.
• Provides refresher training and route observations to reinforce safe driving.
