Job summary

Takeda in the United States (NH - Virtual) seeks a senior market access leader responsible for all books of business and engaging payers across formularies and medical policy to secure profitable access. You will lead strategic account plans and negotiate contracts to drive access and revenue.

You will collaborate with Medical Affairs, HEOR, and Sales to maximize patient access and brand value, acting as the face of Managed Markets in a cross-functional setting.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree and 3+ years of leadership or payer account management experience.
• Experience across commercial, Medicare, state Medicaid and PBM payer landscapes.
• Ability to manage multiple therapeutic areas across regional PBMs and payers.

Responsibilities

• Secure and maintain appropriate access for Takeda brands on formulary and/or medical policy.
• Build and execute strategic account plans to deliver access strategies.
• Negotiate contracts and meet revenue/rebate objectives vs. budget.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, HEOR, and field teams to pull through access wins.
• Influence PBMs to model favorable access for Takeda brands.
