Takeda Pharmaceutical Co. seeks a Global Market Access Strategy, Franchise Head based in Cambridge, MA.

Lead Global Market Access for a neuroscience franchise across pipeline, launch and lifecycle opportunities, shaping evidence-based access strategies for patient access worldwide. You will build and guide a team of Global Market Access Strategy Leads, integrating payer perspectives into development and commercialization decisions while coordinating with US Market Access, Global Pricing, and R&D

Qualifications

• University degree required; advanced degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Extensive pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience with global access, pricing and payer strategy.
• Demonstrated leadership of people and cross-functional teams in complex global matrices.
• Track record shaping development, evidence generation, and value strategy for lifecycle portfolios.
• Strong understanding of payer systems and HTA frameworks across major markets including US.
• Ability to synthesize clinical, economic, payer and policy evidence into strategic recommendations.
• Strong business and financial acumen, including portfolio prioritization and forecasting.
• Exceptional collaboration, stakeholder management and influencing abilities.
• Franchise experience in Specialty Care preferred; willingness to travel internationally and domestically.

• Set and lead franchise Global Market Access Strategy across pipeline, launch and lifecycle opportunities.
• Shape and execute global access strategies to maximize value and enable timely patient access.
• Integrate payer perspectives and evidence into development and commercialization decisions.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of Global Market Access Strategy Leads; allocate resources.
• Drive launch readiness and support implementation across core markets with scalable tools.
• Represent Global Pricing & Access within governance and cross-functional teams.
• Generate insights on payer ecosystems, HTA requirements and policy trends across markets.
• Integrate payer requirements into Target Product Profiles and launch plans.
• Ensure a unified payer voice through partnerships with US and Global teams.
• Provide strategic input to disease-area strategy, portfolio development and external innovation.
• Champion enterprise mindset, innovation and data-driven decision making.
