Falcon Smart IT is seeking a Market Access Business Analyst to support pricing, contracting, rebates, GTN, and payer programs in a dynamic U.S. healthcare environment.

Strong domain expertise and cross-functional collaboration are essential. You will gather requirements, map processes, create BRDs and user stories, and help optimize operations to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency across commercial and government programs.

Qualifications

  • Market Access domain expertise in US pharmaceutical market access ecosystem.
  • Experience supporting Managed Care, Payer, PBM, Government Programs, and Specialty Pharmacy processes.
  • Knowledge of Pricing, Contracting, Rebates, Chargebacks, and GTN calculations.
  • Understanding of Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and 340B programs.
  • Knowledge of formulary management and payer access dynamics.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical sales and market access functions.
  • Requirements elicitation and stakeholder management.
  • Process mapping, workflow analysis, and gap assessment.
  • BRD, FRD, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria preparation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Business process improvement and optimization experience.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Market Access stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Gather, document, and prioritize business requirements for Market Access initiatives.
  • Create BRDs, financial specifications, use cases, user stories, process maps, and business workflows.
  • Ensure business requirements are complete, traceable, and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Analyze current-state Market Access processes and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Support initiatives related to pricing, contracting, rebates, chargebacks, formulary management, and payer performance tracking.
  • Evaluate business impacts of process changes and technology enhancements.
  • Recommend solutions to improve operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst with strong Market Access domain expertise to support business initiatives across Pricing, Contracting, Government Programs, Rebates, Gross-to-Net (GTN), Managed Care, and Market Access Operations.

Primary Skills (Must Have)

  • Market Access Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of the US Pharmaceutical Market Access ecosystem.

  • Initiative Support: Support initiatives related to pricing, contracting, rebates, chargebacks, formulary management, and payer performance tracking.
  • Impact Evaluation: Evaluate business impacts of process changes and technology enhancements.
  • Solution Recommendation: Recommend solutions to improve operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.

  • Independence: Independently manage business analysis activities for assigned Market Access initiatives.

Secondary Skills (Good to Have)

  • Experience with Model N applications.
  • Knowledge of Gross-to-Net forecasting processes.
  • Experience working with Specialty Pharmacy and HUB Operations.
  • Understanding of Patient Access and Patient Support Services.
  • Experience supporting Government Pricing programs.
