Zusammenfassung

Sprague Energy is seeking a Bronx Terminal Operator to join our team. You will manage liquid petroleum receipts, perform tank gauging, and assist with loading operations, while ensuring safety on every shift in an outdoor maritime setting.

Role includes training drivers, inventory entry, and routine maintenance. Candidates must be able to work nights, weekends, and overtime; benefits start on day one, with 401(k) and other programs available.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in basic math, including fractions.
• Must take and pass Certificate of Fitness test, NYC Fire Department.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Must have or be able to obtain a valid TWIC card.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.

Aufgaben

• Loading and offloading of vessels and monitoring the movement of product.
• Educating drivers regarding paperwork and proper loading procedures.
• Gauging 15 oil tanks daily (heights up to 65 feet) at least once per day.
• Testing product samples in the terminal Lab.
• Daily entering and tracking inventory information into the Guardian system.
• Completing two Detex rounds per shift by foot (33 security checkpoints).
• Maintaining and repairing storage tanks, dock and loading rack and related equipment.
• General facilities maintenance including snowplowing, painting and yard cleanup.
