Job summary

Apogee is seeking a Maritime Systems Engineer for MacDill AFB, FL to support SOF AT&L programs. The role focuses on engineering analysis, complex problem solving, and lifecycle support for surface and undersea systems.

Responsibilities include evaluating proposals, applying standards (IACS/ABS/DNV GL), and providing decision-ready inputs for plans, cost estimates, and design calculations. On-site work with occasional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen.
• DAWIA Practitioner Equivalency certification in Engineering, PM, or S&T.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant Maritime engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides support to government counterparts regarding engineering and analysis processes.
• Reviews engineering change proposals, waivers, deviations, and nonconforming materials.
• Documents and analyzes results of complex activities with advanced tools.
• Delivers inputs for leadership status briefings on programs and projects.
• Adapts technical support to emergencies and changing production requirements.
• Collaborates with managers, budget personnel, and engineering authorities to approve projects.
