Job summary

Curtin Maritime in Houston, TX, is seeking a Site Administrator to provide operational and administrative support for construction and dredging project sites in accordance with company policies.

The role involves coordinating project tasks, managing schedules, arranging dockage and logistics, handling payroll for hourly workers, and ensuring safe, compliant site operations; candidates should have a relevant degree or proven experience and strong Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field; or 5+ years equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize duties and multi-task.
• Strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager with operational tasks.
• Manage day-to-day schedule and responsibilities of parts runner.
• Provide direction, feedback, and assessment of parts runner.
• Prepare and quality check project submittals.
• Assist in routine project reporting requirements.
• Establish the infrastructure of temporary project sites.
• Arrange for dockage of equipment and vessels.
• Set up management of temporary offices, laydown yards, and heavy lift facilities.
• Source and procure consumables and day to day operating supplies for dredge, crew boat, attendant plant, and shoreside operations.
• Maintain records of requisitions, purchase orders and repair orders.
• Establish pool of local vendors for operating supplies.
• Manage all project logistics including heavy trucking and LTL shipments.
• Prepare and submit approved weekly payrolls for all hourly employees on job site.
• Assist Crewing Coordinator with crew logistics and lodging.
• May be assigned other duties as necessary.
