Job summary

A leading tech company in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Robotics Engineer to design and deploy advanced autonomy software on maritime robotic platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sensor fusion and real-time robotics software development, and must be a U.S. citizen eligible for DoD security clearance. The role involves end-to-end contributions, including perception, mapping, and control, in dynamic environments.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience developing autonomy software and hardware systems.
  • Experience implementing autonomy algorithms for perception, mapping, localization, and/or control.
  • Strong proficiency in modern programming languages (C++, Python).

Responsibilities

  • Deploy autonomy algorithms across the full software stack.
  • Improve navigation using sensor data and techniques like Kalman Filters.
  • Develop clear technical documentation.
