Job summary

Anduril Industries in Santa Ana, CA seeks a Quality Technician to ensure autonomous maritime systems meet the highest quality standards. You’ll develop and enforce AS9100-compliant processes, implement NAVSEA requirements, and drive quality on the factory floor for complex defense hardware.

You will perform root-cause analyses (8D/5 Whys), support MRB dispositions, and collaborate with suppliers to maintain critical quality controls and traceability for harsh maritime environments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within manufacturing for aerospace, defense, or other regulated industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience implementing, maintaining, and auditing AS9100 Quality Management System.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and sustain a robust QMS compliant with AS9100 and NAVSEA requirements.
• Champion quality on the manufacturing floor; support SPC, FMEA, and continuous improvement to improve yield and reduce scrap.
• Interpret NAVSEA standards into actionable manufacturing and inspection processes.
