Prism Maritime, LLC is seeking an Engineering Analyst II to strengthen quality control for ongoing maritime modernization projects in Chesapeake, VA. You will work closely with the Project Management team to enforce technical quality, ensure procedural compliance, and oversee QAWB and testing plans.

The role requires interpretation of NAVSEA drawings, ISO QMS experience, and strong communication with US Navy and client personnel. Occasional travel and site visits are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED mandatory.
• Seven years' experience in maritime installation/ modernization industry.
• Ability to interpret NAVSEA drawings and technical work-scope.
• Conclusive expertise with ISO model Quality Management System.
• Experience following NAVSEA standards and QMS procedures.

Responsabilités

• Determine efficiency of operations department processes; propose improvements to support deliverable quality.
• Manage quality for multiple projects; surveil and enforce QAWB and related technical work.
• Coordinate with Prism Quality Assurance on support needs.
• Communicate clearly with US Navy and client personnel.
• Perform RMMCO check-in; ensure documentation is accurate and approved.
• Engage in QMS participation, CAR response and development.
• Identify risks; participate in assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with management to ensure accurate work-scope descriptions in QAWB.
• Verify qualifications, certifications, and training are current for Prism and subs.
• Ensure approval letters and processes are current for work-scope.
• Familiarity with MS Project to verify schedule compliance.
• Verify physical progress matches reported schedule status.
• Reference project schedule to verify event coordination and PCPs are organized.
• Coordinate POA&M schedule changes.
• Update QAWB documentation as necessary.
• Provide surveillance to safeguard controlled information per procedures.
• Maintain and verify adherence to Test and Inspection Plan.
• Stay current with change order management; update plan accordingly.
• Direct corrective actions for QAWB and verify completion.
• Attend audits for compliance of QMS forms and signatures.
