Job summary

The Undersea Systems Division (USD) at Leidos in Lynnwood, WA is seeking a Project Assistant focused on Planning and Procurement to support several contracts. You will work with Program Managers on BOM management, manufacturing orders, and Deltek Costpoint processes to ensure timely procurement and production flow.

Ideal candidates have procurement experience, familiarity with FAR, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with production planning including BOM management and scheduling.
• Familiarity with price reasonableness and competitive bids per FAR.
• Experience with Government Contract Procurement.
• Ability to obtain a Secret DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in production planning for multiple development and production programs.
• Ensure approved material is available for planned production.
• Generate and maintain Bills of Material (BOM).
• Procure fabrication and COTS parts timely and accurately.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality and procurement to develop quotes.
• Establish production schedules based on material and resource availability.
• Provide daily status of WIP and material availability; identify issues.
• Coordinate with engineering, configuration management, and procurement for scheduling.
