Job summary

Fincantieri Marinette Marine in Marinette, WI is seeking a Project Manager to oversee small to mid-sized projects within production programs, applying industry best practices and FMG processes to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.

The role requires collaboration with program management, customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies; strong cost and schedule control; and experience with Earned Value Management (EVMS) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• 8+ years of project management experience or equivalent.
• PMP certification and shipbuilding/maritime environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Program Management, senior leadership, customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies
• Prepare project status reports, metrics, presentations, and communications for management
• Monitor project cost, schedule, and performance, ensuring management controls and contract compliance
• Support Earned Value Management (EVMS), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) reporting, financial forecasting, EACs, funding projections, and margin analysis
• Assist with contract negotiations, change proposals, and risk identification and mitigation activities
