Job summary

Fincantieri Marinette Marine is seeking a Program Management Intern at our Marinette, WI location. The intern will support the program management office, coordinating with multiple internal departments to prepare weekly program metrics, including variance analysis and change tracking.

Domestic travel may be required. The role provides exposure to tracking production progress, launch readiness, and management of government property and long-lead equipment within a leading shipbuilding environment.

• Track progress toward Launch, including testing and readiness reviews.
• Reconcile government property and manage tracking of GFP, GFE, and long-lead hardware.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The Program Management Intern is responsible for providing support to the program management office. This role will have close contact with the Program Manager and various internal departments to assist in the preparation of weekly program metrics including variance analysis, tracking of change and production.

Domestic travel may be required.

Essential Functions

• Track production progress and closure of all Corrective Action Reports, ABS Comments (local surveyor initiated), Request for Deviation and Justification for Technical Dispositions necessary to provide closure
• Track production progress and actions required to Launch including Testing, Ship watertight integrity, facility preparations and assist in the preparation of the Launch Readiness Review
• Reconciliation of all government property, tracking of outstanding GFP, GFE and MMC Long lead equipment, tracking of outstanding Hardware Problem Reports and production impact from late material
• Other duties as assigned
