The Tampa Port Authority is seeking a Project Manager in Engineering to oversee small maritime, civil, and construction projects from initiation to completion.

This role collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, manages permits, budgets, schedules, and risks, negotiates contractor proposals, and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements.

The Tampa Port Authority offers a hybrid work policy with field duties and occasional after-hours work to support project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in maritime, architecture, surveying, engineering, or construction.
• Associate degree plus 2 years in PM or related field.
• Four years of PM or construction/maritime experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop plans, specs, and scopes for small maritime, civil, and construction projects.
• Coordinate with tenants, consultants, and departments to meet needs.
• Manage permitting and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Review contractor proposals and manage construction activities.
• Track tasks, risks, and budgets; report status.
• Assist senior staff in project development and delivery.
