Job summary

SMX is seeking a Project Manager to join the PMO and guide the Mission Solutions Group portfolio of programs. You will lead the day-to-day operations for cost, schedule, and performance, ensure staffing and training, and manage budgets and subcontracting across maritime operations.

The role requires DoD TS/SCI clearance, US citizenship, and periodic travel to customer sites. You will collaborate with government managers to shape opportunities and ensure SOP compliance.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI eligibility required by DoD contracts.
• Leadership experience in C6ISR or maritime operations.
• Proven budget management and cost control experience.
• Ability to develop staffing, training and HR processes.
• Experience with program/proposal development and capture.

Responsibilities

• Allocates resources to meet time and budget constraints.
• Tracks schedule, cost, and performance using QMS processes.
• Reports status and maintains program documentation and metrics.
• Supports business development and proposal activities.
• Leads engagement with government program managers and CO/COR.
• Oversees recruitment, retention, and staff development.
