Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
  • 7+ years post-education experience in engineering discipline, marine/port/coastal design.
  • Engineering license required, multi-state preferred.
  • Aptitude with maritime codes and DoD criteria, e.g., UFC/UFGC.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee staff engineers and task leads; supervise calculations and prepare drawings and specs.
  • Prepare technical studies, guide staff engineers and review work.
  • Oversee calculations, cost estimates, drawings, specs and reports; perform QA checks.
  • Lead project and team coordination for marine facility projects (ports, terminals, DoD).
  • Participate in proposal development, client presentations, and staff estimates; mentor junior staff.
