Hatch is seeking a Port Planning Intern to join the Infrastructure group from our Brooklyn, NY office. You will support global offices on port planning challenges and help deliver practical, safe, and sustainable solutions.

As the successful candidate, you will apply planning principles, conduct road, rail, and marine planning, and collect and analyze data to meet project objectives. You will prepare reports, memos, presentations, schedules, maps, and models, with opportunities to travel to

Formación

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in urban planning, transportation planning, or engineering.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Responsabilidades

• Apply planning principles to provide efficient, effective, economical, and timely solutions to port planning challenges in multivariable and multidiscipline project environments
• Conduct road, rail, and marine operations and infrastructure planning efforts in accordance with transportation planning standards, quality objectives, and client needs
• Collect, review, and analyze a variety of planning and operational data to meet project objectives
• Prepare reports, technical memos, presentations, schedules, maps, figures, diagrams, and models
• Provide support to Senior Engineers and Designers as and when needed
