Job summary

Young Brothers, Inc. is seeking a qualified Marine Personnel Manager to oversee recruiting, crewing, scheduling, travel, and time-entry for marine personnel. You will ensure compliance with union agreements, regulatory requirements, and onboarding processes.

The role involves working with HR, Labor Relations, and Payroll to resolve day-to-day personnel issues, maintain training databases, and provide Seatime reports. A bachelor’s degree and maritime experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree; preferred maritime academy and/or USCG Mate License.
• Experience with HR, payroll, and labor relations processes is advantageous.
• Understanding of EEO, hiring, discipline and union agreements is expected.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment, crewing, and interviewing processes for vessel crews.
• Oversee timekeeping, wage validation, and onboarding in ESS and I-9/E-Verify compliance.
• Coordinate training schedules, vendor interactions, and training records.
