SubCom is seeking a highly skilled Maritime OT Lead to manage and enhance OT network infrastructure across a maritime fleet, ensuring reliability, security, and IMO-compliant cybersecurity.

You will lead cross-functional projects, troubleshoot OT networks (SCADA, PLCs, HMIs), and coordinate IT/OT integration with IT, Vessel Operations, and Safety teams.

Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a US security clearance; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience supporting or managing OT networks, ideally in maritime, offshore, or industrial environments.
• Solid understanding of maritime systems, industrial communication protocols, and ICS components (SCADA, PLCs, HMIs).
• Strong project management skills with experience leading technical or cross-functional initiatives.
• Cybersecurity background with familiarity or hands-on experience implementing IMO cyber risk management guidelines.
• Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Security Clearance.
• Experience with class society requirements (ABS, DNV, Lloyd’s Register) related to cybersecurity or OT systems.

Responsabilités

• Manage, support, and optimize OT network systems onboard vessels or maritime facilities.
• Plan and execute OT network upgrades, migrations, and expansion projects with minimal operational impact.
• Ensure OT cybersecurity practices align with maritime regulatory frameworks (IMO resolutions, IACS guidelines).
• Lead cross-functional technical projects and maintain project schedules, scope, and deliverables.
• Troubleshoot OT network issues, conduct root-cause analyses, and maintain reliability.
• Audit maintenance and calibration records for compliance and safety.
• Maintain documentation including network diagrams, inventories, and cybersecurity procedures.
• Collaborate with IT, Engineering, Vessel Operations, and Safety teams to secure IT/OT integration.
• Monitor system performance and proactively mitigate risks.
