Job summary

Carnival Corporation & plc seeks a Director, Maritime Cyber Safety Engineering to lead strategy, design and deployment of shipboard OT cyber defenses and secure engineering standards. You will guide global teams across IT, Maritime, and vendors to protect critical vessel systems and ensure operational readiness.

Requires 10+ years in cyber/OT engineering, strong leadership and budgeting skills; in-office in South Florida with possible shipboard travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field.
• CISSP, GICSP, or comparable OT security certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global Maritime Cyber Safety Engineering strategy, architecture, standards, and multi-year technology roadmap for shipboard OT environments.
• Lead the design, evaluation, implementation, integration, and lifecycle management of fleetwide OT cyber defense technologies and engineering controls.
• Establish secure OT architecture and network segmentation standards that protect critical vessel systems while supporting safety and operations.
• Direct engineering delivery across operating lines and vendors to meet cybersecurity and operational-readiness requirements.
• Develop and maintain engineering standards, reference architectures, and design documents within approved safety-management systems.
