Job summary

Concept Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Marine Operations Software Development Lead to lead design, development, modernization, integration, and sustainment of mission-critical software for maritime operations and enterprise business systems.

The role combines hands-on technical leadership with guiding Agile teams, delivering secure and scalable software, and implementing modern DevSecOps practices. Clearances may be required and the position is contingent upon contract award.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading and supporting software development teams.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Strong proficiency with C#/.NET, Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, or Angular.
• Experience with REST APIs, SQL Server/PostgreSQL, Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD.
• Knowledge of secure software development and cybersecurity principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise software applications.
• Provide technical leadership to Agile development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Design and develop secure web applications, APIs, system integrations, and workflow automation solutions.
• Modernize legacy applications using cloud-native technologies and contemporary development frameworks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and deliver high-quality software products.
• Implement DevSecOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, source control, and secure coding standards.
• Integrate applications with enterprise platforms such as Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint, identity management services, and relational databases.
• Support production systems through troubleshooting, performance optimization, and software enhancements.
• Establish development standards, perform code reviews, and mentor software engineers.
• Prepare technical documentation, system designs, and operational procedures.
