Job summary

Candidates should be comfortable with a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends as vessels’ schedules require. Entry-level position offering exposure to ship operations, documentation, and port expenses.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience is required.
• ASBA agency certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record is required.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic, port-based environment.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and adapt to 24/7 port schedules.

Responsibilities

• Board vessels at marine facilities and mid-stream locations.
• Coordinate berthing, pilots, tugs, and linesmen for vessels.
• Arrange vessel husbandry services within authorized funding limits.
• Respond promptly to emails and office traffic for assigned ships.
• Draft and dispatch commercial documentation accurately and timely.
• Remain reachable on call and adapt to after-hours needs.
